<strong>Branch Cloning<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-7100 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/www.talentlms.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/04\/branching-clone-1.png\" alt=\"The Spring 2017 TalentLMS update is live \u2013 TalentLMS Blog\" width=\"1746\" height=\"400\" \/><\/p>\n<p>This new feature allows you to conveniently share characteristics like custom pages or payment settings among dozens of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.talentlms.com\/blog\/multi-purpose-training-talentlms-branches\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>branches<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Sure, it\u2019s nothing that you couldn\u2019t achieve before in TalentLMS \u2014 only now it takes just a few clicks instead of the best part of an hour.<\/p>\n<h2>And the rest&#8230;<\/h2>\n<p>Those three are just the major, immediately visible features.<\/p>\n<p>There are, as is the case with each TalentLMS update, loads of additional handy new features, workflow enhancements, integrations, and fixes included.<\/p>\n<p>If your company uses (or plans to use) OKTA\u2019s Identity-Management-as-a-Service, err, service, for example, then you\u2019ll be pleased to know that OKTA\u2019s lifetime provisioning has been integrated with TalentLMS, allowing for automatic course and group assignment processes. <strong>Oh, and in portals making use of TalentLMS\u2019 SSO options<\/strong>, you can now automatically assign SSO users to existing groups based on the group\u2019s SSO attribute.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-7082 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/www.talentlms.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/04\/SSO-attribute.png\" alt=\"The Spring 2017 TalentLMS update is live \u2013 TalentLMS Blog\" width=\"694\" height=\"976\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The new release also brings several improvements to TalentLMS\u2019 REST <a href=\"https:\/\/www.talentlms.com\/blog\/talentlms-api-automation-made-easy\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>API.<\/strong><\/a> There is, for example, a new API to reset a user\u2019s progress for a specific course, certain API calls like \/v1\/gettimeline have been extended to return more information, and ILT information such as the name, capacity, location, duration, start time, etc. has also been made available through the API.<\/p>\n<p>This TalentLMS update gives administrators some additional powers, like the ability to<strong> manually modify the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.talentlms.com\/blog\/talentlms-gamification-use-cases\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">gamification<\/a> points of a user<\/strong> (to e.g. further reward a successful learner or to remove points from a cheater), and the ability to<strong> reset a user\u2019s course progress<\/strong> directly from within their administration dashboard.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-7098 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/www.talentlms.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/04\/gamification-points-1.png\" alt=\"The Spring 2017 TalentLMS update is live \u2013 TalentLMS Blog\" width=\"1789\" height=\"634\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Neither last nor least, this TalentLMS update goes international: we\u2019ve expanded our language speaking skills and also support Turkish, Czech, Thai, Korean, Japanese and Indonesian. Our Czech users wanting to sell commercial courses will be glad to hear that the Koruna is finally a supported currency.<\/p>\n<p><strong>There are lots of other new features and updates to existing functionality<\/strong> (from new notification options to the ability to add a video response to a course assignment) that would take a lot of virtual ink (photons?) to list on this post.
